Question:

Hi, i have this 2017 f350 but there is no power to the wire that charges the battery, i checked the fuse 27 in the battery fuse box and is ok , the relay that charges the battery is missing but there are no wires if i want to put one in, any thoughts, or a diagram that you guys can help me with? we have all data but doeset help much, thank you!

The easiest way to get 12V charging power to the 7-way contact on your 2017 F-350 is simply to add a separate charging line circuit. This saves you dealing with the missing contacts in the fuse box.

All you need is a 40-amp breaker # PK54540, enough 10-gauge wire # 10-1-1 to reach from the battery to the 7-way, wire loom # 459075-1, ring terminals # DW05705-1 and butt connector set # 05732-2. The wire and loom are both sold by the foot so order enough to give you some extra length just in case.

This setup will give you an always-on charging circuit to top off your trailer battery.
