Secure Your Camper with the Flip of a Handle

HappiJac Qwik Load Turnbuckles

Standard turnbuckles have to be manually tightened, which can be a bit of a chore. HappiJac Qwik-Load handles eliminate this difficult step. The Qwik-Load design means you won't have to make these manual adjustments every time. Once you've reached the desired tension at the initial setup, you can just hook the turnbuckles onto the anchor points on your camper and truck and flip the levers down to secure - it's that simple. Pins are included to ensure that the turnbuckles remain tight and in place.

HappiJac Qwik Load Handles

When you're ready to remove your truck bed camper, just remove the pins and flip the Qwik-Load handles up to release the tension on the turnbuckles. With the tension released, you can quickly and easily remove the turnbuckles, activate your jacks, and remove your camper.

This quick-disconnect feature is also great if one of the attached turnbuckles covers your truck's fuel tank door. No need to manually untwist a standard turnbuckle or remove chains from older style ones just to fuel up. Just pop the Qwik-Load handle up, unhook the turnbuckle so you can move it out of the way, and fuel up.

Great! Love them.

by:

Had to cut 3 inches of threads off to make them fit

by:

Item arrived in a busted box.

There
was a manufacturing defect in one of the turnbuckles rendering it useless. Would not recommend. Very poor quality control.

by:

The product I recieved was obviously one that was returned. The packaging was taped up as part of the box was missing. The two long threaded hooks were both bent, one grossly. One of the lever parts was missing, only three in the box.The shipping department failed completely. I am currently trying to return the product for a refund and find a new source for this product, which is recomended by [other source]. There was no tracking info all week until it showed up at my local post office. Totally a "bush league" internet company!

The tie downs work great, my only problem is why are there 2 short ones? My setup is an Arctic Fox 990 camper, in the bed of a Silverado 3500 with an 8 foot bed. The short ties won't reach the rear tie bracket, which is fastened on the end of my 20K hitch. I had to make up the difference with about a foot of chain. They all need to be the same long size, and simply trim if needed. For as much as these things cost, seems like a major design flaw. Other than that, they work fine.

After a year of use, the Happijac Qwik Load turnbuckles are still working great. Very durable, easy to set up, and makes securing the camper to the truck much easier and very quick.

@DavidL We're glad to hear that your # LC182895 HappiJac turnbuckles are still working good for you!

by:

I really like the design and ease of assembling. Only 4 stars due to the front tie down, 11" threaded rod, was 8 inches too short. I actually need 24" for the front also. 2024 Chevrolet 2500.

by:

Product looks good, don't like that you don't give delivery up dates!

by:

Disappointed and delayed due to one turnbuckle missing in the shipment.

Fortunately a replacement was sent, unfortunately it took a week to get it.

by:

The HappiJack Quik-Load Turnbuckles is the answer for quick release for camper tie downs. My driverside tiedown is right in front of my fuel cap. These Quik-Loads were the answer for me.

The HappiJac Qwik-Load Turnbuckles are still working fine. Since I have to remove one each time I fuel up, it is very easy using these tie downs. I am still very happy with them.

by:

Ok, not the best build quality but ok......definately too much money for these

by:

I think the idea is brilliant and they work amazing. I do feel the quality of the bolt material could be better though

by:

Everything was here packaging barely made it though.

by:

So far these seem to work very well on the camper. Much faster than the normal turnbuckles.

Works great

by:

Product arrived on time and was correct

by:

Package damaged in shipping
Hope all
the parts are there.
Not impressed with etrailer at all

by:

The frame mount brackets bolted on without a hitch
The Happy Jack turnbuckles haven’t used yet but look quality

by:

Great job with parts bolted right on no problems done in a hour and a half very satisfied

by:

The tie downs work well and the quality is good. They’re a lot easier to install than the old style with no springs. That said, you still have to adjust the length-adjustment rod, then lock the nut with a wrench each time they are removed and reinstalled if the camper has been repositioned in the truck bed.

by:

Quality product. Easy to use and preformed as advertised. I did buy 4 small padlocks to lock them in place because I have heard of them being stolen from unattended vehicles.

by:

Great product. Easy to use. Confidence inspiring every time I use them. Would only buy from e trailer. Fast delivery. Great prices. And support help was 1000% on point. Great team. Thanks e trailer.

by:

the turnbuckles are so much easier and faster than the standard turnbuckles

by:

My business has been using etrailer for years and have been very happy with the products ,selections and the customer service. Kim is very helpful and knowledgeable.

by:

Very reasonable cost compared to other options. Easy installation and have now used them for nearly 5 months. The only way to go for securing our Wolf Creek cabover camper on our 2017 3500 Chevy truck.

by:

Installed, perfect fit thank you

Quick delivery, great product fair price

  • Can Brophy Stake Pocket Mounted Camper Tie-Downs Handle 3,000 lb Camper
Hi Adam, The Brophy Stake Pocket Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # TDSF don't technically have a weight capacity, though the turnbuckles they need, the Brophy Basic Turnbuckles w/ Hardware for Camper Tie-Downs # TDHP, have a 3,000 lb weight capacity. So if the camper is 3,250 lbs you'd need to go with a different option like HappiJac tie-downs. If you let me know the year, make, model of your truck as well as things like bed size, what hitch you have, and if you have running boards I can find...

  • Camper Tie-Downs for 2020 Ram 1500 With Factory Air Suspension
Hey Jordan! What kind of camper do you have? The TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TL68ZR are the same as the D2138. Assuming you have the 5-1/2' bed this is the correct part number with the factory hitch and no running boards. Also, you can use TorkLift and HappiJac together. However, the HappiJac is only available as the front and rear set # LC236326-205221. Since the rear TorkLift tie-downs aren't compatible with the air suspension I would consider using HappiJac for the front and rear....

They have a spring-loaded design to reduce stress and won't loosen up over time as you drive. You're pretty limited at that length so I would double checking the measurement. Something like the # LC182897 from the HappiJac Qwik-Load Turnbuckles # LC182895 you looked at would be a great option that will remain secure and is easy to adjust with the levers....

Hey David, I haven't really heard from anyone saying their truck bed camper couldn't clear the cab, but vehicle manufacturers can make some wild changes after a couple of decades. With your truck being only a few years newer than the camper I'd say you're likely fine because the camper manufacturers would be going off industry standards for trucks at that time.
