Question:
Looking thru your options for a Transmission Oil Cooler. I would prefer the Stacked Plate Cooler. My Vehicle is a 2018 GMC Adacia, V6 Engine, SLT1 Model. Could you please tell me which Stacked Plate Cooler would be the best for my application? I am not towing anything but have placed a hitch on the vehicle for use with a bike rack. Looking for cooling when driving in the mountains. Last summer temp elevated to around 200. Thanks

Transmission and oil coolers are not vehicle-specific; you can essentially install any one for which you have the space available to install it. When it comes to coolers bigger is better.
And if you want the best cooling even at lower speeds, such as when driving in mountainous areas, you might consider a remote-mount fan-powered cooler like the Derale Atomic Cool # D13950, an efficient plate-fin type cooler that will lower your transmission temperature even at low speeds since it does not rely on passive air flow.
Since powered coolers do not need to mount in front of the AC condenser (like passive coolers such as Class III cooler # D13503 do) you also have a lot more flexibility in where you can choose to mount it. You may need more fluid line for certain installation points; we offer 5-foot # D13016 and 25-foot # D13007 hoses.
My tech contact at Derale confirmed for me that both of the coolers noted above are excellent options for your Acadia.
