Ordered the AC from her based on the shipping date and that their website said it would be delivered by Tuesday 5/16 when I placed the order. The item shipped and the same day for h to e most part but then the date randomly changed from Tuesday to Friday. Very different dates. There was no delay on the UPS side, the e-trailer website and staff just use wrong dates to get the sale. Had to have someone go to the house twice to pickup the item and move inside since they also shipped some parts via USPS.

Easy installation and excellent cooling.

  • Recommended Multi-Zone Furrion Chill HE Air Conditioner Setup
Hey Mary. The Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System item # FR65TD is a single zone system so it's going to have everything you need to get it installed and running. However, the system is going to be isolated from your other AC. The Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Roof Air Conditioner Unit - 13,500 Btu - White - R32 item # FR26TD is just the air conditioner that mounts up on the roof so it's not going to do anything by itself. You would need the Furrion item # FR95TD instead to have...

  • What is the Difference Between the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System FR45PV and FR65TD?
Hey Lars you are correct. The only difference between the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System item # FR45PV and item # FR65TD are the LED lights built into the air distribution box and the different thermostat capable of controlling them. The thermostat included with the Furrion Chill HE item # FR45PV can be used in multi-zone setups as well as control the LED lights in the air distribution box. If you were going to add an additional Furrion Chill HE AC system you could control...

  • Availability of 15,000 Btu AC Replacement for Coleman Mach
Hi Brad; the Furrion Chill HE # FR32PV worked as a replacement before but we can no longer guarantee compatibility. We found that the majority of the time the plug would line up but the system wouldn't work. Even if it did work, you run the risk of burning up your air distribution box (ADB) and will need a replacement. A complete replacement would then be necessary since the Furrion R410A ADB has been discontinued with everything moving to R32 refrigerant. The same is true for other brands...

  • Looking For A Quiet, Ducted AC Replacement For My Dometic DuoTherm
Hey Lisa, In order to replace your original unit you will need to get a new AC system. Ac units are no longer compatible with different brands/models and we do not carry the DuoTherm line. I recommend the Furrion 15,000 BTU # FR65TD ducted system for your set up if you are looking for a quiet unit. In my experience Furrion units are the quietest ones out of the batch that we carry and work efficiently. This is a full kit with the AC unit, distribution box and thermostat for you to replace....

  • What Air Conditioner Can I Use to Replace My Dometic Brisk II and Wire in the Furnace?
Hi Scott, I know you'd prefer a plug and play replacement, but due to a new law that was passed in 2024 all refrigerant was changed to a more environmentally safe option. Due to this change, AC manufacturers had to alter the wiring in the control boxes to make it safer, so air conditioners that were produced in and before 2024 are no longer compatible with ACs produced in and after 2025. This means that to get you a new, higher btu system we'll need to get you a complete new set up with...

  • Does the Dry Mode On My Furrion Air Conditioner Help with Cooling My RV in Humid Conditions?
Hello Gary, The "dry" mode on your Furrion A/C # FR65TD can definitely help when you’re dealing with humid conditions in your RV. It’s not quite the same as the regular cooling mode, it works a little differently. When you turn on dry mode, the unit focuses more on pulling moisture out of the air rather than dropping the temperature dramatically. It runs the compressor at a lower speed and cycles the fan on and off, so it's a bit quieter and more energy-efficient. The cool part is, even...

  • What Quiet Air Conditioner will Replace My DuoTherm 620425.331 on My Sun Voyager Motorhome?
Hello Michel, Upgrading from your original DuoTherm 13,500 BTU air conditioner is a great move, especially if you’re looking for stronger cooling and a quieter setup in your 2007 Gulf Stream Sun Voyager. Since your RV uses a ducted system, the Furrion Chill HE 15,000 BTU RV Air Conditioner # FR65TD is an excellent replacement option. This unit gives you a noticeable boost in cooling over your old 13.5K system and is designed specifically for ducted, single-zone RVs. One of the biggest...

  • What AC Unit do I Need to Replace Only One of My Duo-Therm model 630515.331?
Hello Edward, Since you're replacing the Duo-Therm model 630515.331 A/C unit on your 2006 Newmar Ventana and already know that the brand has shifted over to Dometic, you're likely aware that the recommended replacement is the Penguin II. The great thing about going with the Penguin is that it’s fully compatible with your existing setup including the thermostat and control box, so as long as those components are still functioning, you won’t need to rewire or replace anything beyond the...

  • Replacement For A Coleman Mach Model 48254c966 15000 BTU AC
Hi Rodney! We definitely have some options for you, but the right one is going to depend on what you mean by "kit". If you just mean the main AC unit that will connect to what you already have installed, you are going to want the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup - 15,000 Btu - Black # FR32PV. This is one of the last one we carry that still uses the old R410A refrigerant and it includes the Coleman Wiring Conversion Kit, so it would be an easy install....

  • Why Can't I Mix and Match RV AC Systems and Thermostats?
No, I can't Dan because RV thermostats or at least 100% of ours don't work like that. It has to do with the signals sent to the control board in the ac unit or air diffuser box. There are some universal options out there but we do not carry them so I am not sure if there's one for the Coleman-Mach. My only option for you is to replace your Coleman-Mach system with one that works with a thermostat like item # FR88TD. You can use the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System item # FR65TD....

  • Is there a Furrion 15,000 BTU that will Work With My Current Furrion Set-Up with R410a Refrigerant?
Hello Andrew, We have the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner Unit for Furrion Setup - 15,000 Btu - Black # FR86PR will work with your current set-up since it has the old R410a refrigerant. This year they came out with the new R32 refrigerant, the old R410a is not compatible with the new R32. Since you are needing a new AC, and if plan on keeping your camper for a while it might be a good idea to get a whole new system. I only say that because once the R410a parts are gone,...

  • Do Furrion RV AC Units Require Using Furrion Thermostat
Hey Angry John, what we've found is that any time you try and mix and match AC electrical components it's really hard to say how or if it will all work. With a Furrion Chill HE kit like the part # FR32PR you'd need to use a Furrion thermostat otherwise we can't say how it might work. This specific unit has it's thermostat built into the vent assembly so you'd need to reach up to it to make any adjustments. For a similar setup that comes with a wall thermostat you'd want the part # FR65TD.

  • Can I Use Another Brand to Replace Coleman Model 4800 Dual Setup with Integrated Control System
Hi Robert, sorry to hear one of your Coleman 4800 A/C units went out, that’s never fun in an RV, especially with summer coming up! I wish I could say you could just swap out your broken Coleman unit with another brand and have everything work perfectly with your current setup but unfortunately, that's pretty unlikely. Most of these systems aren't cross-compatible, especially when you're dealing with an integrated control system. You’ve got two solid options: The easiest route is to just...

  • Does the Furrion Chill HE FR65TD Need a Soft Start or Does it Have One Built In?
Hey Lars, welcome back! The Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System item # FR65TD has a built in start capacitor that gives you an extra boost to help jump-start the AC. You would not need to add a additional soft start to this setup. You won't have to worry about a power surge tripping the breaker and leaving you stranded in the heat. • What Variable Speed Air Conditioner Can I Replace My Rooftop Unit With?
Hi Tim, It looks like your 2019 Forest River Salem Villa Estate model 394FKDS originally came with a Coleman 15K BTU unit for a ducted system. Since you're wanting an air conditioner with variable speeds, the only option on the market currently is the Furrion Chill Cube 18K BTU AC part # FR49TD with a built-in start capacitor. Because of a law passed in 2024 that required a new refrigerant, any AC unit manufactured before 2024 is incompatible with units made in and after 2024. This means...

  • Replacement RV Air Conditioner Recommendation For Furrion FACR14SA-BL
Hey Benjamin, I do have a replacement air conditioner option for you, but the Furrion 14.5K FACR14SA-BL you are looking for hasn't been made in a while, as it used the old R410 refirgerant that hasn't been able to be used in new production RV air conditioners since January of last year. The only way you'd find one is a used take off from a re-sale website. With that said, that air conditioner can be replaced with a new Furrion unit. The correct one for you is going to come down to color...
