Thank You for confirming my thoughts. As I already have the Dexter lubricated bolts and shackles installed, can I buy the K71-653 equalizer only? Part #?

Expert Reply:
I recommend using the E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System by Dexter Axle - 5-5/8" Equalizers # K71-652-00 which is compatible with axle spacing of 33 inches on center. It is okay to move your outside hangers to give you more space but there are standard spaces that work well for tandem axle trailers that you will want to stick to. If you want 35 inch axle spacing, then you will move the hangers and use kit # K71-653-00 which has wider equalizers to make up for the larger spacing. The integrated shackle straps of these kits will help ensure the correct fit.
