Question:

I just measured mine and they are bigger than the 6” that the road armor are stating. Mine looks to be like 7” 3/4”. Here is a picture of what I am dealing with. Do you have anything that works for this?

I would be happy to help you determine if the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizers # LC696740 you were looking at will fit your 2021 Forest River Sabre 36BHQ, but this is not information that we have on hand so you will need to measure your current equalizers.

The # LC696740 measure 6" center to center of the horizontal mounting holes so as long as that matches your current equalizers this would be a great upgrade option for you. These equalizers are designed for 3500-8000lb axles so they should work perfectly with the axles on your trailer as I would imagine they are either 6000-7000lb axles.

Since your trailer is so new you can just reuse your shackles and bolts as they should still be in pretty much brand new condition.

Thanks for the picture and measurement! We do have a different equalizer upgrade that will work to replace your 7-3/4" standard equalizers. I recommend the Dexter E-Z Flex Equalizers # K71-655-00 which measure 7-3/4" long so they will be an exact replacement for you. These equalizers are a different style than the Road Armor equalizers, and are what I recommend to replace the equalizers in your picture as they will not stick down nearly as far below the mounting bolts giving you more ground clearance than you would with the Road Armor style equalizers. With that said these will still give you a smoother ride as the rubber core will minimize chucking and help to absorb road shock.
