Is Compressor System Required for LoadLifter 5000 Springs on a 2017 Ram 2500 w/ Bilstein Shocks

Question:

I have a 2017 Ram 2500 tradesman with the off road package which has the Bilstein shocks. While reading some of the qandas one of the answers mentioned needing a compressor system in addition to the air bag kit. Does the off road packages suspension effect the air bags so much that they require frequent refilling of air, and if that is the case would the heavy duty compressor be needed.

While a compressor system like the Air Lift WirelessAIR # AL74000 isn't mandatory for the Air Lift LoadLifter 5,000 Air Helper Springs # AL57289 on your 2017 Ram 2500 with Bilstein Shocks, it is definitely something that we highly recommend.

Reasons being that a compressor system keeps you from having to hunt down a compressor when you need to inflate your air bags and also provides an active monitor that gives you advanced diagnostic reports so you know if you have a leak or a compression failure. These aren't things that you would naturally expect from this particular kit (as the Air Lift products are top notch) but it gives you peace of mind as the reality is sometimes malfunctions can occur with any suspension enhancement system so it is best to have one that keeps you informed.
