Question:

What air bag/ compressor kit is best for a 2020 Ram 2500? I hang on to my trucks for a long time, so I want to get lots of use out of the kit and compressor. I need something compatible with my fifth wheel hitch prep system.

For maximum durability, go with the AirLIft Load Lifter 5000 Ultimate , part # AL88289. This system uses an internal jounce bumper for additional stability. The springs themselves are 2 ply with a reinforcing fabric layer for extra toughness. The # AL57289 regular LoadLifter 5000 kit would work fine for you but it does not have the additional stability gained from the jounce bumper. Both kits are compatible with your Ram Factory 5th Wheel prep package.

Like all air bag systems, you can pretty easily add or remove pressure from the system, but an on-board compressor system allows you to fine tune your rear suspension firmness exactly the way you want it as you're rolling down the road. I'd recommend the # AL25856 Heavy Duty Dual Path system which allows you to vary the air pressure in either side if necessary, to compensate for uneven loads.
