Can Demco Commander Tow Bar be Used with Tabless Base Plate Kit

I see in description that the brackets on Demcos tabless baseplate say 18” im guessing thats from ground if so... would demco commander tow bar RV hitch is 16” to center, from ground be able to tow at that 18” baseplate bracket height on JL Wrangler

Demco has confirmed that their Commander Tow Bar part # DM9511012 does work with the Tabless base plate kits like the part # DM9519339 that fits your 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL. Sometimes tow bar heights and base plate heights don't line up perfectly. That is why companies like Roadmaster created high low adapters like the # RM-048-6 which can give a 6 inch rise or drop.
