Can Roof Top Tent be Used with Thule TracRac Truck Bed Ladder Rack on 2014 Ford F-150 Raptor

Question:

I have a 2014 F150 Raptor and want to find a quality bed rack system that I can use to mount a roof top tent on the combined weight of the tent, people and gear would be 700 pounds. Obviously this would be while it’s parked and not driving. Will this rack system work with a RTT on the Raptor 5.5’ long bed?

The Thule TracRac TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH27000XTB that you referenced, which is confirmed to fit your 2014 Ford F-150 Raptor, features a weight capacity of 800 pounds so it is more than capable of supporting the weight of your loaded roof-top tent.

You will just want to make sure that your tent is able to clamp around the crossbars of the TracRac (which are a bit larger than standard roof rack bars). The crossbars measure 4 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches tall. I have attached a short video demonstration on this system that you can check out as well.
