Hey guys, John here from etrailer.com. And today we're going to take a look at the replacement foot clamp for Thule track rack, ladder racks. It's a very simple application.It is just a replacement part and how we use it is when we go to install our ladder racks. This sits on top of this bolt. And then as we tighten the bolt down, the clamp comes up and helps clamp underneath our bed rail. Just to quickly demonstrate, put the bolt so it's mostly down, put the clamp on.
We can slide it onto the leg of our system and then tighten this down. And it secures the leg to our bedrail and our ladder rack to our truck.So obviously this is a replacement part when I've uninstalled some of the Thule ladder racks, when I'm loosening up our bolt, sometimes this will fall down and clatter around and if I'm not careful, it can be really easy to lose them. So it might even be handy just to have some of these on hand anyways. Okay. That's going to complete our look at the replacement clamp for our Thule track rack ladder racks.

Exactly what I ordered delivered early.
After purchasing and installing my Thule TracRac ladder rack, the next day I backed into a parking space. Not use to having, forgetting the rack was on and not realizing a low tree limb was in path for collision. Ouch!
I was tickled to find out that replacement parts were available. The base mount plate broke (buckled my solid bed rail top, slightly) and 1 clamp screw bent. I was amazed these were the only two components damaged/ needed.
