  Hey Edmond, the Curt trailer wiring kit part # C56210 that you have for your 2012 GMC Terrain would only fit if you have the factory tow package which it sounds like yours doesn't. What we know is that there are some OEM components needed to activate the tow package wiring that we unfortunately do not have access to.
