It seamlessly plugs into your vehicle's existing wiring for a hassle-free installation. No more dreaded wire cutting or complex splicing, just plug it in and go, making it perfect for DIY enthusiasts and first-time installers alike.

Compatibility Across Models: Fits Multiple Vehicles

Finding a reliable wiring harness that's compatible with your vehicle can be daunting. The Curt T-Connector is specially designed to fit a range of models, including the Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain from 2010 through 2016. Whatever your make or model within this range, this harness offers a custom fit, guaranteeing that you won’t be left with an incompatible product.

All-Weather Reliability: Dust Cap Included

Trailer connectors can be exposed to the elements, leading to wear and tear. Protect your connection with the included dust cap that keeps your connector covered from dust, dirt, and moisture. This feature not only prolongs the life of your wiring harness but also ensures reliable performance in various weather conditions.

Quick and Clean Installation: Comes with Essential Accessories

Save time and keep your wiring neat with the included cable ties and detailed instructions. These ensure that your cables are kept neatly in place, reducing the risk of tangling and potential damage. This thoughtful inclusion keeps your undercarriage organized and your connections secure, providing a professional finished look without the cost of professional installation.

Comprehensive Lighting Solutions: Compatible with Trailer Adapter Extensions

Sometimes you need more than just a basic setup. The Curt T-Connector Wiring Harness is compatible with solutions like 5-pole adapter kits for towing applications with surge brakes. This makes the harness versatile for expanding your towing capabilities, ensuring you have the right connection for your specific trailer needs.

Durable Construction: Built to Last

Worried about long-term reliability? Constructed with durable materials, the Curt T-Connector is designed to withstand the demands of regular use. The high-quality connectors match OEM standards, so you can trust this harness to perform consistently, whether you're heading out on a weekend adventure or taking on a cross-country trip.

  • Troubleshotting Curt Trailer Wiring Harness Not Fitting 2012 GMC Terrain
Hey Edmond, the Curt trailer wiring kit part # C56210 that you have for your 2012 GMC Terrain would only fit if you have the factory tow package which it sounds like yours doesn't. What we know is that there are some OEM components needed to activate the tow package wiring that we unfortunately do not have access to. That said, what we can guarantee will work is the # 56094 which installs by plugging inline with the vehicle taillights. This is the for sure kit we can recommend that will work.

  • Is Dealer Programming Needed to Activate Tow Package Wiring in 2014 Chevrolet Equinox
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56210 that you referenced is intended for the Chevrolet Equinox that has the factory tow package. The connection point for this harness is behind the driver-side rear trim panel. The only thing you may need to do to activate this harness is install the required tow package fuses and/or relays IF they are not already in place. Check the power distribution box under the hood for any empty fuse holder location labeled 'trailer' or 'tow'. If your...

  • Does the Computer have to be Reset to Install a Curt Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2012 GMC Terrain
I went over the installation instructions and you will not have to have the computer reset when you install the Curt wiring harness, # 56094, on your 2012 GMC Terrain. If you are apprehensive about it, you could always disconnect the negative battery cable prior to installing the harness. You will use any programmed information, like stereo presets, but that is easy enough to reset.

  • Recommended Hitch for a 2017 GMC Terrain
Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch item # 13591 will fit your 2017 GMC Terrain. However, I have a better option for you. I recommend the etrailer Hitch item # e98865. This hitch is identical to the Curt hitch with the exception of the superior matte coating that not only helps to prevent rust but will also blend in nicely beneath your Terrain's trim. This etrailer Hitch item # e98865 custom fit for your Terrain and bolts to it with included hardware. It is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver....

All of the trailer hitches that fit the 2013 Chevrolet Equinox fit the 2012 Equinox because they have the same trailer hitch bolt pattern on the frame rails. We have several different trailer hitch options for your 2012 Equinox, so I attached a link to all of them for you to check out. The trailer hitch that I recommend is the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch, # 13591. This is done so that customer do not have to purchase a whole package and end up with parts they do not need. I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball,...

  • Can Tongue Weight Capacity Be Added to Vehicle by Using Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs
Thank you for your purchase of etrailer 2-Inch Class III hitch # e98865 which is the highest-rated hitch offered for your 2014 Chevrolet Equinox. Although this hitch has a tongue weight (downward force) rating of 350-lbs some combinations of power chairs and carriers could exceed the hitch rating, or exceed the vehicle's own tongue weight (TW) rating. Vehicles like the Equinox that are primarily designed for passenger transport, rather than trailer towing, can have fairly low TW ratings....

  • Recommended 4-Way Wiring Harness for a 2017 GMC Terrain w/out the Factory Towing Package
I would be happy to help clear up the confusion. Since your 2017 GMC Terrain does not have the factory towing package you will need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # 56094. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness located behind the tail lights. This harness only works on the Terrain's without the towing package. Since your 2014 Chevrolet Equinox does not have any tow package wiring you'll start with a 4-pole harness like # 56094 which is a simple plug-in installation at the car's taillights. This provides stop, turn and tail light signals for the trailer. From there to convert to a 7-way RV-style trailer socket you'll need our # ETBC7 kit. If you do not have the factory tow package on your 2012 Chevy Equinox there is a harness that you can plug in behind the tail lights, the Curt T-Connector # 56094, which will give you a 4-way connector. If you instead needed a trailer end connector to plug into the harness on your Equinox you could use # H20046 for a 7-way or # A35W42B should you need a 4-way. I've added links to video reviews of each of these products for you to take a look at.
