Question:

A friend gave me the Curt hitch from his 2015 Yaris and I want to install it on my 2018. He saved the bolts and washers but I am looking at those items now and it seems like some might be missing. How do I figure this out? Do you sell those small hardware parts?

The Curt hitch # C11480 that you referenced does indeed fit the 2015 through 2019 Toyota Yaris as long as you do not have the SE. If you do not have the SE, you are okay installing it on your car.

Although it was admirable that your friend made the effort to save most of the installation hardware for you it cannot be re-used a second time. Hitch installation hardware can only be torqued one time and then it must be replaced. This is for safety reasons.

If you plan to use a bike rack or cargo carrier you will need the support strap # 18050 to go with this hitch. You will want to select compatible Class I-rated carriers. All Class I-rated 2-bike racks and Class I cargo carriers are linked for reference. If you happen to have heavier electric bikes the rack I suggest is the Thule EasyFold # TH903202 which handles bikes up to 65-lbs each. For a cargo carrier you can use # C18145 from Curt.

Class I hitches are only able to carry 2 bikes even in the bike rack that you choose can carry more. Carrying more than two bikes, regardless of the weight, can cause damage to the hitch and your car. It also poses a safety risk.
