This will enable us to use the bike carrier on our Yaris Hatchback. Thanks for a great product.
Overall great product and easy install. Item came packaged very securely. Took about 15minutes total. Only thing I had to do extra was bend one of the metal tabs holding one of the bumper supports. The fit and finish of the product was great. Didn't have any issues bolting right on to the frame. Havent had time to test it out on the road.
It was very good at holding a fancy bike rack on my 2014 Yaris L.
I was very glad that I paid a local mechanic to install it. They took quite a while to put it on.
The hitch receiver bracket fits okay to the new 2015 3-door Yaris. Once installed, there is a recess about 4" long between the .5" pin hole to the back of the bumper. For my application of cargo carrier that comes with a 2x2" square tubing, I had to spend a lot of time to find a right and special 1.25-to-2.00 conversion adapter with 2.5" riser with about 4.25" axial offset.
It would be nice and greatly easier if the manufacture of this hitch receiver bracket can extend the solid 1.24" square out by 4 to 4.5".
It was a near perfect fit. I just had to trim the bumper in 2 spots.
I ordered this trailer hitch, a ball mount, and a hitch ball. Half an hour later I got a call from eTrailer telling me that the ball mount and hitch ball I ordered would not fit the trailer hitch I chose. They switched the ball mount and hitch ball to the right sizes for no additional fee. The package arrived right on time, and installation was a breeze. Thanks, eTrailer!
The trailer hitch package for my 2012 Toyota Yaris from you fit perfect and looks good. It is unlikely anyone will even notice it, (without the receiver and ball attached) unless I point it out to them. I have not towed anything yet, but I am confident it will work great. I will use it for my small boat. Right now it is just to hot to go boating, with no shade.
We received the trailer hitch for our 2014 Yaris right away. I took it to my favorite used car dealer and they installed it in 20 minutes. It fits perfectly and I look forward to attaching my bike rack.

Installed this and a hitch today on my 2015 Yaris. The bike rack took about an hour for two of us to install, but we could have done it with one person. The instructions could have been a little clearer, but over all installation was alright.
I dislike that it wiggles from side to side. We spent awhile trouble shooting this until we saw some videos online and it seems as though that wiggling is normal. I might ask customer service if there's something we can buy and install in order to eliminate the wiggle. The wiggle is my only complaint.
Overall, the rack is good because the bikes don't budge at all. They are very secure, and that's what matters. I bought this version with the tire racks in the hopes it'd make it easier to load the bikes. It's definitely easy to load them. We're talking minutes, with no learning curve. Worth it!

Bought this for my 2016 Yaris 5 door hatch LE. You need to cut 3 of the bumper supports and remove a thin metal tab for this to be installed correctly. Hitch sits very close to reverse light but it works.
Receiver hitches are awesome vehicle additions to piggybacking cargo and stuff.... Thanks to etrailer for providing the BEST products to meet those needs.

The hitch was exactly as advertised. I ordered my hitch on Monday and received it on Thursday. I had to call etrailer with an installation question, and the person I spoke to was very helpful. I will definitely shop with etrailer again!
