The Replacement Tail Clamp Assembly for Extang Solid Fold and Trifecta Tonneau Covers - Qty 1 # EX1035 is the correct replacement part unless you have a 1999 or newer Ford Super Duty truck which will instead use # EX1042.
To install the replacement clamp, I reached out to my contact at Extang, and if you have the original Solid Fold you will need to cut a small slit in rail toward the center to drop the clamp into and slide to the outside edge. The newer Solid Fold 2.0 has a latch pocket to give you that accessibility without any cutting required.
