How to install the Replacement Tail Clamp Assembly for Extang Solid Fold and Trifecta Tonneau Covers # EX1035 depends on what cover you have. The replacement tail clamp fits the Extang Solid Fold, Solid Fold 2.0, and Trifecta covers.

The Solid Fold and Trifecta requires that you cut a notch in the track to take out the old clamp and slide in the new clamp. I have included a picture that provides more insight on this.

If you have the Solid Fold 2.0, there should be a latch pocket with a cover that allows you to swap out the clamps without cutting. I also included a picture of this.
