Replacing Rear Latch Assembly for Extang Express Soft Tonneau Cover

Does this part come with the instructions on how to install the new part or is there a video tutorial?

I reached out to my contact at Extang and while there aren't any specific installation instructions available for the Replacement Rear Latch Assembly # EX1072 the process is pretty straightforward. He said you will just need to remove the end cap from the rail and locate the bolt underneath that has to be taken out. Once the bolt is removed you should be able to slide the old latch assembly right out.

Then it's just a matter of sliding the new one in, putting the bolt back in place, and pushing the end cap back on.

I purchased two new latch assemblies for my extang express tonneau cover but the cover is not latching properly. It doesn’t sit flat and it pops open when driving, is there any adjustment to these latches?
