If you have the Extang Solid Fold 2.0 Hard Tonneau Cover then you will first need to remove the tail hinge end caps on each side of the panel. Once these are removed you will see that there is a channel on the hinge and a groove on the cover that will slide into this channel. I called Extang but they were very reluctant to provide any details as they suspect there was damaged that caused the panel to separate.

I have attached a photo for you that may help with the above process but if you need any replacement parts then I will need to know exactly what model you have.

Tried to remove the end caps but the Allen screws are stripped. Best way to get screws out?

@CarlN You might have to drill them out or use an EZ out.

They are not allen head; they are T 20 torque head screws. After you get them out everything comes apart very easily. I had mine back in the hinge and five minutes. You will have to remove the straps that hold the two panels together so you can slide the rear one back the hinge groove

Connor - thanks for the insight. My cover just snapped free yesterday because I am a doughhead and didn’t realize it could do that with freeway speed and being open. I was sure no one else had the same issue so I was extremely happy to find your info and within 2 minutes, maybe 5 total, it was put back together.

@ToddL I will pass along the info to Connor! Glad his information was useful and you were able to get things back together quickly Todd! P.S. you are not a doughhead =)

It only took 18 mths I forgot to flip the Las panel down. I just need to know how to put it back on. Is it likely ant parts blew away?
