replacing a follow landing gear can only find 29 1/2 in mine measures 33in will the 29 1/2 work

The bracket spacing between weld stops on your landing gear legs will be the determining factory for your replacement follow leg. There are two standard sizes for the weld stops; 33-1/2 inch legs have weld stop spacing of 19-1/2 and 21-1/2 inches whereas the shorter legs are 15-1/2 and 17-1/2 inches.
If you need the longer weld stop spacing, I recommend the Replacement Follow Leg for Stromberg Carlson Landing Gear - 33-1/2" # LG-177201. For matching lead leg, you may want # LG-177202.
If you have the more common 17-1/2 inch spacing, I recommend the Replacement Follow Jack w/ Drop Leg for Stromberg Carlson Landing Gear - 29-1/2" # LG-179014. You do want the legs to match so that you have the same thread size, so you may also want lead leg # LG-179013.
