Question:
When I am not towing my 2018 Ford Edge-should I pull the 20 amp fuse when I am driving the car? I have read that sometimes, in the past2016 the car was stopped by the invisibrake. Thanks for your help.

I spoke with my contact at Roadmaster regarding the issue you mentioned when using the InvisiBrake Braking System # RM-8700 on your 2018 Ford Edge. He stated that the potential for the brake circuit on the vehicle to backfeed into the InvisiBrake (thus activating the system) during everyday driving isn't necessarily specific to the Ford Edge. This particular issue actually has to do with the tow bar wiring that you installed for flat towing and not the InvisiBrake itself. If you are using a lighting solution that connects to the factory wiring on your Ford Edge to activate its signal lights for flat towing, you will want to make sure that you have diodes like # RM-790 installed as well to prevent this feedback.
Pulling the 20-amp fuse when you drive the car will indeed keep this feedback from powering the InvisiBrake, but it is really only a band-aid type fix instead of a solution to what is actually causing the feedback. You can take a look at the attached diagram to see where the diodes should be installed. With the diodes in place you should not need to pull the 20 amp fuse.
