When installed do the DZ DZ371233 nerf bars come out further than the Westin E-Series Round Nerf Bars - 3inch - Polished Stainless Steel from the vehicle once installed? Are the DZs closer to the ground when installed than the Westins once installed? Is there any difference between the two of them once installed? I have 05 Dodge Ram 3500 Quad cab Thank you.

Both the DeeZee Nerf Bars # DZ371233 and the Westin E-Series Round Nerf Bars # 23-2310 referenced in your question are confirmed to fit your 2005 Dodge Ram Quad Cab. Because of where the mounting brackets will attach, the DeeZee model will stick out a bit further from the truck than the Westin boards, allowing for easier access to its 3 inch wide step platform. Ground clearance will be very similar between the two running boards on your truck.

The DeeZee Nerf Bars # DZ371233 is a really nice set of round tube steps that feature stainless steel bars for excellent corrosion resistance and a molded plastic step surface for secure footing. The installation kit and mounting brackets are included.
