Question:
I own a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek with a 2inch Draw-Tite trailer hitch #76209 purchased from etrailer. Im deciding between the Curt #C18150 and the Pro Series #6502 cargo carrier. I understand the weight capacity difference, folding vs non-folding, and similar dimensions at 20inch x 48. The Curt #C18150 includes a shank adapter that enables the carrier to fit both 1-1/4inch and 2inch hitches and the Pro Series #6502 is strictly 2. I planning a road trip to haul climbing crashpads on the carrier, so weight will be around 100 lbs. The Curt #C18150 has a great price and it weighs less, but the Pro Series #6502 is compatible to my trailer hitch without the need of an adapter. What is your recommendation?

Expert Reply:
I recommend going with a cargo carrier with a 2 inch shank because it will be the best fit with the least amount of movement between the carrier shank and the hitch receiver. So between the 2 you are looking at that would be # 6502. You could go with Curt carrier # C18152 which costs less than the Pro Series carrier, fits 2 inch hitches only, and is a little bit larger at 24 x 60 inches.

I want to know if the C18150 had integrated reflectors. The pictures don't show the same on all. Or do I have to purchase those seperate?
