In order to install the Firestone Inflation Valve part # F3032-1 without leaks you will want to use a tubing cutter part # AL10530 or a similar device. It may seem like an unnecessary purchase but the air line cutter ensures that each air line is cut evenly every time which will in turn provide the best seal into the fitting. Most of the time a fitting is leaking it is because the line was not cut properly. Once the line is cut you can insert it into the fitting and pull away to lock it in place.
