Helpful Expert Reply:

For your 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee AWD, the owners manual says to use tire chains on the rear tires only and they should be class S chains. The manufacturer has two tire sizes that come from the factory, so I'll give you a recommendation for each.

If you have 245/65-17 tires, I recommend the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link - 1 Pair # TC2317.

If you have 255/45-20 tires, I recommend the Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link - K-Summit XXL - Size K66 # TH02230K66 for the best fit and function. For a more economical option, you can use the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains - Ladder Pattern - Steel Rollers # TC2029 along with tensioner # TCMA2. Jeep does not recommend using chains on any tires larger than this due to a possible clearance issue.
