Lippert Power Jack # LC285318 LED Lights Blinking and Jack Does Not Work
Updated 06/17/2020 | Published 10/04/2017 >
Question:
I have a 2017 Grand Design Imagine with a Lippert Power Jack which is about four months old and used three times. I noticed that the LED lights on the jack began blinking continuously and the jack no longer works. Any idea of why this would happen out of the blue?

If you have the Lippert Electric Trailer Jack with Footplate # LC285318 installed on your 2017 Grand Design Imagine you will want to start off by checking the wiring.
A lot of times a short in the wiring can cause weird things to happen with electronics. Check to make sure the ground is secure and installed on a clean, bare metal surface. Also check the wiring to make sure it is installed correctly and is not damaged. Look for any places where it might be corroded, bent, damaged, or exposed and replace as necessary.
Since the lights are acting up the same time that the jack stops working this should fix the issue.
If all of the wiring looks good and you are still having this problem let me know and I can help you troubleshoot further.
