Question:
How to wire a electric tongue jack with ground control inside the electric jack? I had to replace the jack out camping. Bought replacement but dont know how to wire the hot and ground for the jack motor, the orange and purple wire for the ground control plug in the switch where the hot and ground plug in? Photos of diagram would be great! Thank you!

When installing the Lippert Electric Trailer Jack with Footplate - A-Frame - 18" Lift - 3,500 lbs - Black # LC285318 the only wire that needs to be connected is the single red wire coming from the jack. The instructions state that you need to connect the red power wire from the Power Tongue Jack housing to a grounded 12V power supply on the trailer.
I reached out to Lippert and they do not have any internal wiring diagrams for the jack. The reason they do not have these is because they do not recommend opening up the jack.
If you were talking about the jack used with the Lippert ground control, the additional wires plug into the controller.
