I do have some hitch options available for your 2010 Nissan Altima that do not require the removal of the heat shields, but the CURT trailer hitch # 11352, does require the heat shields to be removed.

The Draw-Tite hitch # 24796 will allow you to retain the heat shields on your 2010 Nissan Altima. It is a Class I 1-1/4 model, and is has the same tongue weight and towing capacity of the CURT hitch # 11352 that you selected.

To complete your towing setup, you will need the following items:

A ball mount
Tow Ready Wiring, part # 118470
1-7/8 inch hitch ball, part # 19256
2 inch hitch ball, part # 19258

If you will be using the hitch for a bike rack or other hitch accessories, you will be limited to those that are compatible with Class I hitches. You will want to make sure not to exceed the tongue weight and towing capacity of your hitch or vehicle as stated in the vehicle owners manual.

I have linked instructions and video installation of the Draw-Tite # 24796 and wiring # 118470 being installed on a 2010 Nissan Altima. I have also linked an FAQ on trailer hitch install tips.
