Question:
Code: RM-071-1075 Can this item be used to extend my travel trailer camper to give it a better turning radius??

If you are needing to extend the gap between your tow vehicle and trailer, the Roadmaster Anti-Rattle hitch Extender # RM-071-1075 referenced in your question will provide a great solution. This is compatible with any 2 inch hitch receiver and will move the receiver opening 7-3/4 inches out from your trailer hitch.
Please note that the use of this or any similar hitch adapter is going to reduce the tongue weight capacity of your trailer hitch by 50%. For example, if the trailer hitch on your tow vehicle has a tongue weight capacity of 350 pounds, this will be reduced to 175 pounds when using the adapter. You will need to make sure that the tongue weight of your trailer falls below this reduced capacity.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this product for you to check out.
Depending on how much extra length you are needing, an extended ball mount like the Curt # C45230 might also be a good option. This ball mount measures 8-1/8 inches or 11-1/8 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the ball hole, depending on which pin hole you use. Using an extended ball mount like this one will not reduce the tongue weight capacity of your trailer hitch. I have attached a video demonstration on this product along with a link that will take you to our available selection of extended ball mounts.
