Hitch Receiver Needed to Install on Inside Frame of a 2003 Freightliner Sprinter

Question:

Hitch must be bolted on inside the frame as there is not enough room outside because of the lp gas tank. I ordered one last year and it would not bolt up because it mounted on the outside of the frame. hitch for 2003 freightliner motor home single wheels with lp gas tank and generator in the rear.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 14250 that you referenced does mount on the inside of the trailer frame, but it does require bolts to be run through from the outside of the frame (see attached picture).

You will need to make sure that you have room on your frame as this is the best option for you. The only other options mount on the outside of the frame on your 2003 Freightliner Sprinter.
