This Curt Class IV hitch gives you serious towing muscle with a 2" x 2" receiver opening, 10,000 lbs maximum gross trailer weight, and 1,000 lbs maximum tongue weight. When used with weight distribution, it handles up to 12,000 lbs GTW and 1,200 lbs TW. The sturdy square-tube design and precision robotic welds make it strong enough for hauling campers, boats, or utility trailers without flex or compromise.
The hitch body is fully welded for durability and finished with a gloss black powder coat over a protective base layer. That combo keeps rust at bay and stands up to road salt, rain, and grime. It’s designed for years of towing without corrosion eating away at the steel.
You won’t need to weld or modify anything to mount it up. The hitch bolts right onto the frame using the included hardware kit and step-by-step instructions. Everything lines up cleanly for a straightforward install using basic tools—no specialized setup required.
With a standard 2" receiver opening, this hitch fits the most common towing and accessory equipment out there. Add a ball mount for towing or slide in a bike rack or cargo carrier when you need extra space. It’s built for frequent use and made to handle real-world hauling jobs.

Oh my goodness. I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you. In the meantime we recommend using a rust resistant paint like Rustoleum.
