Does the vacume pump run all the time while towing the vehicle ?

In the Roadmaster Invisibrake system # RM-8700 the compressor will run only as much as needed for the air cylinder to reach and then maintain the pressure setting you have selected. That setting depends on the vehicle's brake pressure requirement which varies from vehicle to vehicle.
