How can I adapt my jeep to get to 4500 lb capacity?

A vehicle's towing capacity is determined by the auto maker and is a function of the ratings of all of the specific equipment installed. The engine, transmission, cooling system, brakes and suspension all affect how much weight a vehicle can safely tow. Slightly different versions of the same base vehicle can sometimes have different towing capacities so it is best to check your own printed manual since this relates to your specific vehicle.
It is not possible to bolt on additional towing capacity to any vehicle. The 2016 Cherokee Sport, Latitude, Limited, Trailhawk and Overland with the 3.2L engine top out at 2000-lbs towing capacity unless they have the factory Trailer Tow Package which increases their tow rating to 4500-lbs.
