Troubleshooting Stud Interfering With Curt Trailer Hitch C13207 On 2019 Ram ProMaster 2500

purchased 8/2020, attempted install yesterday. @step 2a, hole in bracket is in wrong location to slide over inner frame stud.inch Several reviews on your product page mention grinding off that stud, IS THIS OK?

Sorry to hear about that issue!
I reached out to my contact at Curt and they have run into this issue before. The stud pictured is a grounding stud that is not used and is not always in the way, it seems Dodge did not put it in the exact same location on each vehicle.
He mentioned that you can cut off the stud without any issues and will then be able to mount the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13207 on your 2019 Ram ProMaster 2500 without issues.
