The Kat's Heaters Ceramic Interior Heater with Fan part # KH37500 will work in a utv as long as you can find a secure, stable mounting location. It will also not drain the battery if installed correctly. The heater can be installed in one of two ways. You can hardwire the heater directly to your battery or you can use the provided 12 volt power outlet.
As the heater will only receive power while the utv is on using the 12 volt outlet, it will not drain your battery unless the auxiliary port is wired directly to the battery. In this case, you will need to unplug after each use. If you would like the heater to run while the utv is off, you will need to hardwire the heater to your utv's battery. If hardwired to the utv's battery, you will need to install a toggle switch such as the Pollak Heavy-Duty Toggle Switch part # PK34571 when not in use in order to prevent battery drain.
I have attached a review video of this heater for you.
