This 900-watt interior heater runs from an external 120V power source to warm the cabin of a parked car, light-duty truck, or RV without idling the engine. With 3,000 BTU of heating output, it helps take the chill out of the interior before your trip.
The built-in blower fan moves heated air through the passenger area instead of leaving warmth concentrated next to the unit. That circulating air helps with frosted or fogged windows and gives the cabin a warmer feel before departure. How quickly the glass clears depends on outside conditions, frost buildup, and the size of the vehicle, so always check visibility before driving.
The compact 7" long housing includes a bracket for permanent mounting to an appropriate floor tunnel, passenger-side kick panel, or supported under-dash location. This heater is not meant to sit loose on a floor mat or serve as a household space heater. Leave the intake unobstructed and provide at least 10" of clearance in front of the warm-air outlet to protect surrounding interior materials.
The 7-1/2' power cord routes through a protected opening in the firewall toward the front of the vehicle, where its supplied plug is assembled during installation. After mounting and routing are complete, connect the heater to a grounded 120V outlet while parked and disconnect before driving away. This is going to be great for passenger vehicles, light duty trucks, and RVs in cold climates.
So fogged or frosted glass can slow you down, but with its built-in blower fan, this heater is going to circulate warm air across the cabin to help your windows clear quicker and keep the heat evenly spread inside. So whether you prefer it on the floor or tucked underneath the dash, the included bracket that you see here is going to make installation straightforward. And to use, you're just going to plug this cord into 120 volt outlet, and you're going to be ready for reliable cabin heat all winter long. So you can see here that it does come with the plug here that you'll wire in after you get this installation completed. It does come with instructions to guide you through that installation process, along with some hardware.
The output is going to be 3000 BTU. It is CSA certified. Giving you some measurements here. Looking at the overall height, we're sitting a little over three inches tall. The overall width, right at about four and a half inches wide.
And the length, right at about seven inches it looks like. The cord length altogether is going to be about seven and a half feet.
