Troubleshooting a Yakima Skybox with Missing Handle

Question:

Key broke in lock. Took mechanism out to take to locksmith. Skyboxes closed, cannot get open. How can I get open from outside?

You should be able to open the box from the other side. Once you have the other side open you can then replace the handle you took to the locksmith. Unless the locksmith wasn't able to fix the issue.
