What is the difference between the vinyl and canvas material with respect to weather/water proof, easy to clean, maintenance? Which one would you recommend?

My contact at Extang said that there are not many practical differences between a vinyl tonneau cover like the Extang Trifecta 2.0 # EX92450 and the fabric/canvas Trifecta Signature 2.0 # EX94450 in terms of durability and maintenance.
Both will offer pretty much the same durability and resistance to punctures but the vinyl, in extreme temperatures (hot or cold), will tend to relax and contract a bit more than the fabric version # EX94450. Apart from this point your preference for one or the other really comes down to the preferred appearance.
Both of these covers are confirmed to fit your 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with 6-1/2-foot bed.
