Question:

I have a 2000 Damon Challenger Rv. I have broken make ladder. I cant find a replacement ladder anywhere. Im also unable to locate a universal ladder in this size the ladder is 104inch long Measuring from the top of the Horizontal pole to the bottom of the ladder. It extends 6inch from the RV. The horizontal bar at the top is 31inch long. I am needing an exact match ladder so the brace poles extending from my rv all match up. I dont want holes in my exterior if I can avoid it. Do you know of anywhere I can buy or have this exact ladder made? I am open to any suggestions.

We do offer a range of RV exterior ladders that are general-purpose replacements that will work on many trailers and RVs, but none of these is a custom-fit item intended as an exact OEM replacement for any particular unit. RV makers may change ladder suppliers and such items are not usually branded.

All exterior ladders we offer are shown on the linked page, the tallest of which are the Stromberg Carlson 99-1/2-inch models # LA-401BA and # LA-401. For an exact replacement your best bet is to contact Damon but honestly I would not expect they will still offer an exact OEM ladder for a 17-year-old RV. You will most likely end up having to install an alternate.

Even if they cannot offer you the exact item they should be able to give you some guidance on how to install the new ladder to the structural points within the RV. Ladders must be secured to the RV's structural components and if a new ladder needs new mounting points they can probably give you some guidance.
