I have a 2021 259FKDS Freedom express. It has 50 amp service, and is pre-wired for a bedroom AC unit. The existing unit in the main space is a Dometic. What would I need to purchase to add a 13.5 unit to the BR?

Hey Doug, thanks for reaching out. On a 2021 Freedom Express 259FKDS that's 50 amp and already factory prepped for a bedroom A/C, you're actually in pretty good shape. It's usually recommended to do the bedroom AC on a separate zone. Assuming its set up for a non-ducted AC, you'll just need a rooftop unit and ceiling assembly to match. Here is what I recommend:
- Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - 13,500 Btu - Air Distribution Box Controls - Non-Ducted - R32 # ADV77QR
This comes with the rooftop unit and manual control distribution box. Meaning the controls will be on the ceiling. If you want to have wall thermostat controls, use part # ADV95SR instead.
