Question:

I have a 2003 Nissan Xterra and want to get a hitch to tow a trailer carring 2 motocycles. Do the hitches come with all the bolting hardware needed to install? Also what else would you recommend I purchase? Thank you.

Yes, all of our trailer hitches come with the installation mounting hardware. I would recommend the Draw-Tite Xterra Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # 75107. In addition to the trailer hitch, you will need the ball mount, pin and clip or lock, ball and wiring harness.

If you have the tow package, you can purchase a wiring harness that will plug right into your factory plug. The Tow Package Vehicle Wiring Harness, Part # 118244. The connection point for the tow package wiring harness is located under the vehicle, behind the rear bumper on the passenger side. Check to see if you have it, most people do not know.

If you do not have the tow package, you will need to hard wire your vehicle. I recommend the Wiring Kit, part # C59496. Ball mount C45010 is the recommended ball mount for your vehicle. The ball size is determined by the trailer coupler.
