Will the Curt Trailer Hitch # 13183 Fit a 2001 Nissan Xterra with a 17 Inch Spare Tire

Hello, Im curious what is the largest size spare tire possible with this trailer hitch? I believe the stock Xterra tires were 28 or 29 inches. I have a 30 or 31 inch spare tire. Would I still be able to install this hitch and keep the spare tire in place after the installation?

It sounds like you have the 17 inch spare tire on your 2001 Nissan Xterra. The Curt trailer hitch, # 13183, will fit if the vehicle has the 17 inch spare. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you. If you will be doing some towing, I recommend the etrailer ball mount kit, # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a carrying bag.
For trailer wiring, there are 2 options. If it came with a tow package use # 118244. If it did not come with a tow package, use # 119178KIT. I have included links to the installation details for each wiring harness.
