Question:
1963 Shasta Compact 1000# Need to replace trailer jack. Base that screws onto A frame is round with 4 holes. Radius looks to be 6 Would rather not have to get holes re-drilled. Most jacks seem to have triangle plate to screw on. Recommendations? Thanks

Almost all A-frame jacks have the triangle mounting plate with the 3 inch on center holes. We do not carry anything that has the 4 holes. We do have some electric jacks like the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 23" Lift - 5,000 lbs - Black, # JET-5000 that have a round plate to mount, but the holes are still lined up with the triangular mount design.
Unfortunately you will have to drill holes in your coupler for modern standard trailer jacks. My recommendation is to on of the above jacks with the drop leg. This jack has a flip foot that extends 6 inches to minimize the cranking required to position the jack. I've attached some videos for you.
Another option would be to change out your coupler with a new one that has the standard bolt pattern like Demco A-Frame Trailer Coupler w/ Jack Hole - eZ-Latch - Black - 2" Ball - Bolt On - 10K, # DM14793-81.
