Can The Camco Trailer Tongue Jack Stand CAM44635 Be Used On Uneven Ground?

Updated 01/05/2026 | Published 09/22/2024

Question:

Can I use this on somewhat uneven ground, without fear of it tipping from forces inside the trailer? or would I be better off with the square block type? This cone shape seem a little less stable than the typical square block.

Hello Stacy. The Camco Trailer Tongue Jack Stand # CAM44635 is really designed to be used only on flat, level ground. If you plan to be parked on an angle, you may want to go with a jack stand with a wider base. The Stromberg Carlson Base Pad Peak for Tongue and Stabilizer Jacks # SC86MR is a good option for this, or the Ultra-Fab Leveling Blocks # UF48-979052 will also work well.

Hi Stacy, how did things go using the jack stand on uneven ground? Your experience could point others toward the best option for their trailer setup.
