Where Does the Air Dam Get Trimmed to Install Curt Front Receiver on a 2016 Toyota Tacoma

is it just the air dam strip or part of the bumper that needs to be trimmed?

When installing Curt front mount receiver # C31075 it is just the air dam that will need to be trimmed on the 2016 Toyota Tacoma. I have included a picture that shows where the trimming needs to occur. I have also linked the instructions for you.

The install was easy, about an hour laying on my back. As for modifying the air dam, it would be great if you sent a self sticking overlay that one puts on the air dam so cutting would be no question.

That's a good idea. Probably the best/closest method to that at this point would be to simply cut out a couple sections from a piece of paper based on the dimensions in the manual to use as overlays. I will bring this up the next time I talk with Curt!
