Will Factory Active Air Dam Need To Be Removed for EcoHitch Hidden Front Hitch on 2022 Toyota Tundra

Will this fit on a 2022 Tundra Limited without disabling or removing the motor driven air dam that pops down when you hit 30mph?

Hi Matthew; EcoHitch specifically states the factory active air dam will need to be removed for installation of the # EH89CR. If you want to install this hitch on your 2022 Tundra you will have to part with the air dam.

@RobinH I haven’t yet. I need to order the front hitch. Do you think there will be a hitch that doesn’t require you to remove it? What are the effects of removing it?
