Rough roads can shake a trailer to pieces, but this system smooths it all out. The AEON rubber jounce and rebound springs absorb shock and control body roll, minimizing bounce, rattle, and bottoming out. Each side works independently, so when one wheel hits a pothole, the other stays planted. It feels stable and quiet, whether the trailer’s fully loaded or empty.
A traditional axle always hangs low, but this setup eliminates the thru-axle entirely. The standard-height spindles keep your deck height the same while giving you extra ground clearance to protect plumbing and underbody gear. The design fits any trailer frame width, so it’s easy to adapt—just bolt the two units directly to the frame and go.
Keeping bearings greased shouldn’t be a chore. The built-in E-Z Lube spindle lets you pump in grease through the zerk fitting without needing to pull everything apart. Each hub comes pre-fitted with inner bearing L68149, outer bearing L44649, races L68111 and L44610, and a 10-19 seal. When it’s time to service them, everything is easy to access and replace.
Integrated electric brakes help you stop smoothly and safely on every trip. The 5 on 4-1/2" hub pattern matches common wheel setups, and the 3,500-lb total weight capacity is solid for single or tandem-axle use. Heavy-duty steel construction with black powder coat resists rust and corrosion, so it stays tough mile after mile.

It looks like a wonderful, well built system.
The shipment was partial, turns out they forgot the rest. Customer service corrected the matter, still took almost 2 additional weeks to get the rest.
The packaging for shipping -
The suspension pieces should be packed individually not together. The box was torn in half and falling out, scratched up like it had fallen out of the box during shipping when it arrived.
There were no installation / alignment shims or mounting hardware in the box, don't know if they were included and missing or they forgot that as well. I found no information on the paperwork for the inventory expected to be in the box.

No totally satisfied with the service I received since I wasn’t communicated on the logistic timing of sending the product out until four days after buying the products. I had to call several times to know what was goong on.. More comunication is needed.
The order arrived. They seem to be using heavier grade cardboard and only the box containing the spindles was torn open at the corner. All in all a good experience. Linda was very helpful.
Worth the installation effort. My vintage trailer pulls better, stops better and gives me better mileage.

The suspension kit seems well built and all the components seem intact. However, the torsion axles themselves were poorly packaged. Both boxes were torn to shreds upon arrival because they are about 30lbs a pair but only put in a light duty boxes with paper for padding. They are heavy gauge steel and are fine other than numerous scratches on the black powder coat finish. One of the packages had to be taped multiple times by UPS. The hubs and spindles were lighter and packaged separately and therefore were fine. etrailer needs heavier duty boxes for the heavier items they sell. Other than that, shipping was super fast and I am sure they will work great.
Products were delivered exactly as described. The tracking information and communication during the ordering process was also above expectations. I’d order from etrailer again.
I am satisfied with the overall craftmanship of the product. But I was disappointed with the welding on the spindles. none of the weld splatter was buffed off, and the welds looked gobbed on, unlike all the other welds which look good.
These axles were a perfect retrofit for a vintage tralier rebuild/mod. Service at etrailer was excellent. The parts were easy to fit with a little care. I would recommend this product and this supplier to anyone looking for trailer parts.
I installed these on my 2008 T@B travel trailer, replacing the old AL-KO torsion axle and surge brakes. It was part of the upgrade to create an off road travel trailer. I bolted 2"x5" tube steel to the outside of the existing frame to mount the Timbrens and installed the optional 2"x2" tube between them for additional frame support. I had to cut a little from the bottom of the existing frame, but the large steel tube more than makes up for it. It's been about 1 year and the trailer has been all over Oregon, Idaho and Montana fishing last summer and down Baja Mexico, crossing on a ferry to the mainland and continuing south to Manzanillo. It has performed amazingly well!

That is such a cool T@B, those little teardrops have that classic retro look that never gets old. I didn’t even realize you could take trailers on ferries like that, that’s awesome. This thing has seriously been everywhere. And great job on the install too, that’s no small upgrade. Out of all those trips, what’s been your favorite stop?

I purchased the axles because I was intrigued. I would that the mount was 12 wider, and you might want to inform the buyer that the configuration makes it necessary to mount the axles more to the back of the trailer frame. But I am overall pleased with the axles.
