Good news, I can help you find the right trailer hitch for your 2017 Audi Q5.
Since the manufacture confirmed that there is no change in the design of the frame from 2016 to 2017 then yes, the Curt trailer hitch # C13136 would also carry over.
In my research I did find that Draw-Tite has confirmed the # 75940 to fit the 2017 Audi Q5, this was the same hitch that fit the 2016 model. It is also the hitch I recommend for your Q5 over the Curt hitch because per Curt's warranty you will need to use a stabilization strap like # 18050 with any non-trailer load, but with the Draw-Tite # 75940 hitch you will not need this extra strap.
The recommended 4-way wiring kit for your vehicle is the # C59236 and to adapt this connection to a 7-way you will want the # ETBC7 kit.
If you plan on towing a trailer with brakes you will need a brake controller to properly control them. The Tekonsha P2 # 90885 is a great brake proportional brake controller. A proportional brake controller means it senses how the tow vehicle is slowing or stopping and applies the trailer's brakes with the same intensity. This is the best selling controller on the market because of how easy it is to setup and use, and how well it works. The P3 # 90195 is like the P2's big brother it has all the same great features but it also comes with a full display screen instead of codes that need deciphering. The brake controller (P2 or P3) will include a universal wiring harness that will connect to all the connections needed, so you will not need another adapter.
Other items you will need when towing a trailer is a ball mount and ball. This will depend on the trailer and your vehicle. I have linked a Help Article that will show you how to measure for the right rise or drop to determine the proper ball mount and ball for your vehicle and trailer.
We do offer a common ball mount kit # 989900. We have determined through customers that these are the most common ball mounts and balls purchased. For added security customers will also purchase a hitch lock like # e98880.
I have linked all the above mentioned products as well a few Help Articles to this page for your viewing and purchasing convenience.
