Question:
Looking for a trailer hitch for a 2011 Ram Dakota. Already has some type of bumper hitch, but I need a 2inch receiver. Do you have anything to attached to what I have?

Our most popular trailer hitch for your 2011 Ram Dakota is the Curt Class III Receiver Hitch # 13229. This hitch offers a 2 inch hitch receiver with a 500 pound tongue weight capacity and 5,000 pound towing capacity. It is important to keep in mind that the vehicle's towing capacity should not be exceeded when choosing a trailer to tow. The # 13229 hitch is also compatible with weight distribution systems. Many of our customers have chosen this hitch for their Dakotas and have given great, positive reviews of the hitch.
This hitch offers an easy, bolt-on installation that will not require any drilling. It installs through the existing bumper ball mount and at the frame behind the bumper. I have attached the written installation instructions and an installation video of this hitch on a similar Dakota for you.
If your Dakota did not come with a factory trailer connector and you need to install one, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat # 118323. This harness will install in your Dakota behind the rear taillights, in line with your vehicle's factory wiring.
