Question:
I am looking for the brightest utility light I can mount to the rear of our trailer for low light backing. We need as bright as possible. Want to light it up like a led light bar would. Will probably mount 2 to the bottom rails of the trailer to light it up well. Any recommendations as well as wiring kit etc to make it all work perfectly. Thanks !!

For the best and brightest utility light, I would recommend the Vision X # XIL-ST12. It's 12" long x 1" wide x 1/2" deep and by far the brightest strip light with an effective lumen output of 300.
When you go to wire up the utility lights on your trailer the best way is to run the power wire to each light and then run the ground to both as well. You'd simply run some # DW02359-1 16 gauge wire (sold by the foot) up to the front of the trailer, and tie into a switch. It's important to note that this light is not DOT certified to be used as a Back Up Lamp. Since the Vision X light has a built in switch you could tie the power wire directly to the reverse circuit of your vehicle through the trailer connector, then all you would have to do is press the button before backing up in low light situations.
I have linked all the above mentioned products to this page for your viewing and purchasing convenience.
