Durability matters when lights take constant vibration and the occasional road debris hit. This light uses a clear polycarbonate lens and housing that resist impact and UV wear. There are no fragile filaments or bulbs to replace—just solid-state LEDs that last up to 50 times longer than incandescent bulbs while keeping performance consistent over time.
Mounting this light is straightforward with its built-in surface-mount flange that sits flat against the trailer body. It accepts an industry-standard 2-prong PL-3 plug (A45CB or A49PB – both sold separately) for power and ground, making wiring quick and secure. The plug also seals the unused port against dirt and moisture for a clean finish that stays protected once installed.
This LED backup light meets FMVSS 108 requirements in any 360-degree position when installed as part of a two-lamp system. It runs on standard 12V DC setups, giving you bright performance with low power draw and peace of mind knowing it’s built to meet safety standards every time you hit reverse.

Fits very nice on 2008 Ranger Bass boat. It was not necessary, but I chose to trim a bit of the original hole to make it bigger for centering reasons. Looks like it was made with it when Item #a70gb is added.

You also offer good online support documentation and your technical staff is also very helpful in helping the customer make the right choices.
Unfortunately, you left me with a very bad experience. I ordered a full set of lighting & wiring to redo our quad trailer from the 7-pin plug to reverse lights. A large order. I erroneously ordered 2 reverse\turn single lights, which is on me, so I expected a restocking fee (a little excessive, but that's the inventory business). I had to return the 2 wrong lights and order the correct one. I returned both lights, but etrailer said they only received one, which I was 99% sure I returned both. You had no interest or showed any flexibility considering maybe I was correct. This is a one year review you have asked me to submit and the light you claimed I did not return, still has not shown up in my garage. I liked dealing with you on numerous occasions, but I have taken my business elsewhere. That was a sad experience.
Added Glolight LED's to my trailer. Much brighter than the factory originals. Makes launching pre sunrise much easier. You can see where you are backing up.

As Bright as was said they would be. Matched perfect with existing lights on new trailer.
I gave 4 stars because I really thought they’d be brighter for backup lighting. They definitely do help in letting others know you’r intentions from behind.
These back up lights are 2 - 3 times bigger than the lights that come stock on the Ranger trailer. More importantly, they are much brighter and make backing up the boat so much easier in the dark. I highly recommend these if you are looking to replace or upgrade your trailer lights. Etrailer is always great to work with. Highly recommend!!!
